After wearing through my first pair of pointe shoes at the age of 13 I chose to display them in my room as a constant reminder of my hard work and love for dance. An old pair of shoes however is not very esthetically pleasing there for I have devised a way to turn them into art! The shoes for sale in my shop are my own personal shoes but if you are or know a dancer and have old shoes sitting around your house I can personalize them for you.

Having done pointe since the tender age of twelve I have accumulated a large collection of shoes. I have never thrown a pair out and they currently take up a large portion of my closet. So naturally I have decided to turn them into art! the shoe and ribbons are hand painted and attached to a copper wire (disguised by the ribbons) for easy hanging.
I am open to doing custom shoes so if you are interested send me a message!

On the days the pain is too much to bear
I lay in bed wondering
will I dance again?
will I tie satin ribbons around my ankles,
will I feel the floor spinning beneath my toes?
will the ecstasy of movement satisfy my soul
