I have recently pulled away from my routine of acrylic canvas paintings to experiment with sharpie pens and watercolours. I've taken on a slightly less refined sketchy style and am focussing on portraits mainly of famous actors and actresses.
I'm a little less focused on detail and more aware of style and more often what didnt work on my attempted drawing because unlike paints where you can keep repainting a problem area, sharpies are forever! I have had a few successes and a multitude of failures which I am hopfully learning from.
I am also selling prints on Etsy  http://www.etsy.com/shop/rachelledyer and will hopefully be releasing a new collection in the next few weeks. Until then I have a select few pieces for sale as a test run.
